HELP RESTORE DIGNITY TO UGANDAN WOMEN THROUGH LIFE-RESTORING FISTULA REPAIR SURGERIES
Every woman deserves to give birth safely and live with dignity. In Uganda, thousands of women suffer in silence with an obstetric fistula—a devastating childbirth injury that leaves them incontinent, isolated, and forgotten.
But your generosity can rewrite a woman's story.
🩺 WHAT IS OBSTETRIC FISTULA?
Obstetric fistula is caused by prolonged obstructed labor. Without access to emergency care, women can suffer internal injuries that cause constant leakage of urine or stool. Many lose their babies, their health, and are abandoned by families and communities.
It doesn't have to be this way. Fistula is preventable and treatable.
✨ HOW YOUR GIFT HELPS
The Musa Project, founded in partnership with Ugandan surgeon Professor Musa Kayondo, is working to end obstetric fistula in Uganda by providing:
- Free, life-changing surgeries for women suffering from fistula
- Education and awareness campaigns to reduce stigma and encourage care-seeking
- Training for OBGYNs and surgeons in fistula prevention and safe childbirth practices
- Facility upgrades and medical equipment and medical equipment to strengthen local healthcare systems

And now, thanks to a powerful partnership with Project C.U.R.E., we are preparing to ship and deliver critically needed medical equipment to outfit three new fistula wards across Uganda–starting with the expansion of Professor Kayondo's base hospital in Mbarara.
These shipments will provide hospital beds, surgical tools, exam tables, sterilization units, and more–everything needed to create clean, functional, and dignified spaces where women can receive care.
Please visit our website at www.Musa-Project.org for more information, or help the Musa Project specifically provide medical equipment for the new wards by making your donation to Project C.U.R.E. today.
