Join Us in Equipping Tombel District Hospital in Cameroon with Critically Needed Medical Equipment

The Colors of Roses Foundation, in collaboration with the Bakossi Diaspora Women and in partnership with Project C.U.R.E., is launching a fundraising campaign to equip Tombel District Hospital with critically needed medical equipment. Located in the Tombel Subdivision of the Southwest Region of Cameroon, Tombel District Hospital is the primary healthcare facility for the community. With a 65-bed capacity, the hospital is severely under-resourced and urgently requires support to meet the growing healthcare needs of the population.

Currently, the hospital operates with just one main physician, two part-time assisting physicians, three midwives, and a small team of support staff. Its infrastructure is dilapidating, there is no ambulance for emergencies, and essential diagnostic and surgical equipment is either broken or completely lacking. Critical services such as X-rays, ultrasounds, and laboratory testing are unavailable, and surgeries, including cesarean sections, are performed under extremely challenging conditions.

Tombel is a rural community where residents often travel long distances for even the most basic medical care. The absence of proper equipment means countless lives are at risk every day. This project seeks to change that reality by delivering a 40-foot container filled with life-saving medical supplies and equipment to the hospital.
