With a total of $38,890.25 raised, you have surpassed the estimated goal of $38,000 and even covered additional expenses. The next step will be a visit to Kuyu General Hospital this fall for an on-site Assessment.
The Kuyu General Hospital Financial Support Group is working in collaboration with Project C.U.R.E. and the Jara and Jiru Foundation to raise funds for the logistics and shipping costs required to deliver critically needed medical equipment and supplies.
We are raising funds to ship a 40-foot container filled with donated, high-quality medical equipment and supplies from Project C.U.R.E., a leading nonprofit that has delivered medical relief to over 135 countries.
The value of the container’s contents is estimated at $350,000–$400,000, and it will include everything from hospital beds and wheelchairs to sterile gloves and delivery room essentials, at no cost to the hospital.
But we need your help to cover the cost of shipping, handling, and in-country logistics. The total cost to deliver this container to Kuyu General Hospital is $36,000.
Your donation will:
- Provide critical medical tools to a hospital serving thousands of families
- Reduce maternal and infant mortality by equipping delivery rooms with proper tools
- Ensure healthcare workers have the resources they need to save lives
- Support long-term health infrastructure in Oromia through local partnerships
