"Gavin was a tremendous gift to Project C.U.R.E. and to all of us who had the privilege of serving alongside him.

He cared deeply about leadership, innovation, and using his resources to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. He helped build the Phoenix Ambassador Board, served as its Chairman, and played an important role in expanding the reach of Project C.U.R.E.’s work in Arizona.

Gavin was never someone who simply lent his name to a cause. He showed up.

He volunteered in our warehouses, traveled around the world assessing hospitals, gave generously, and offered his experience and wisdom to strengthen the organization.

When I became Executive Director of Project C.U.R.E. in Phoenix, Gavin became an important advisor and friend. He helped me understand the history of the organization, build the team, and make wise decisions. I knew I could call him and receive thoughtful counsel.

I also remember his willingness to give $50,000 toward biomedical equipment and innovation. That reflected who Gavin was. He was not only interested in meeting immediate needs; he wanted to invest in solutions that could continue helping people for years to come.

Gavin was an advisor, volunteer, philanthropist, and leader, but above all, he was someone who gave himself to the work.

His legacy can be seen in the leaders he encouraged, the board he helped build, the hospitals he served, and the countless people around the world who benefited because of his generosity.
